2+2=5?

You’d ask me what is two plus two,
Of course I’d answer four.
But now I sit and scratch my head,
Seems it doesn’t anymore.
How many stars are on our flag?
Fifty, there’s no doubt.
But I guess I had miscounted then,
Looks like I’ve left some out.
Do we live on planet Earth?
Well, duh, I’ll tell you yes.
How could that be incorrect?
Must have been a guess.
All of these, such simple things,
Are somehow now so wrong.
What comes after “A B C”?
I’d have to sing the song.
